no shit... try wiping with metalfibre
(wich is pretty cool stuff btw... pain in the ass to weld tho... it has a sweet spot of no time at all anything over or under that and its either got holes burnt through it or not welded together properly)

My uncle’s old house was insulated with crushed up newspapers from the 1910s, wonder if those would work better?
